I was probably too busy preparing for navigating around potholes in my recently lowered Cerb, when i say recently lowered, i really mean 4 up with a boot full of clutter
Charlie looks a little happier than Rick
They were alright, it was me trying to drive with my knees up by my ears that took some getting used to!
Good photo by the way

And being a noisy git reving the cerb up in the copice tunnel on your way home before the end of racing on saturday. Heard and saw you and thought to myself - bet that's a Pistonhead!
Saw L100NYY - he was busy getting lost in the infield (looking for other PHers at the time?) It was me in the big white van behind you!
All of you who left early on Sunday missed out on a top VW battle
Some more TVR shots - variable quality but you might enjoy the content.
Edit to add that some of the results I can see through the post are somewhat degraded compared to the originals - guess I got over enthusiastic with my compression for web use! The originals for these are 35mm negatives - digitised to 1Mb files and then further compressed, probably a couple of times! Maybe I can find a better way ...

Let's not forget the Ginettas - a great race.
A couple of regular PH'ers represented in these shots. (There is another pic as well I think but difficult to tell as the Dunlop car obcures the view. )
I may group them and post on the Ginetta Forum.

Sorry I gave my camera to my mate for a play whilst the Ginettas were racing... I'll have a look through my files, but I don't think I have any decent closeups.
Failing that, where can I find the Ginetta calendar and I'll let you know if I'm going to any other events this year.
EDIT: just checked and no I don't I'm afraid. Happy to keep an eye out for you at other events though

Ginetta dates
2nd/3rd Apr - Donington - GT/F3 - TV
7th/8th May - Croft - GT Cup - TV
28th/29th May - Thruxton - GT/F3 - TV
25th/26th June - Castle Coombe - TV
16th/17th July - Snetterton
27th/28th Aug - Rockingham
17th/18th Sept - Mondello Park - GT/F3 - TV
8th/9th Oct - Silverstone Int - GT/F3 - TV
ahem - Obviously there was a reason for being caught down to the Old Hairpin - car kept jumping out of gear on the dive down the hill - which kept things interesting.
Had a few problems in the weekend (like losing the throttle linkage half way though the second race ), but still had a great time. Fantastic dicing as usual, and still have a one piece car, which is always a bonus. Thing about Ginettas is that you will have multiple paint samples on the car at the end of the day, but it is all taken in great spirit.
Time to get saving up for the next round now.
