I've always wanted the AMD team to do well ( I sold a friends Ford Kuga to Ben at AMD) and believe BTCC should be about the smaller teams. Given how things are progressing do we think a win is on the cards for AMD ?
Cheers thumbup

In all honesty a win would require a spectacular amount of luck before the end of the season, but I think we'll put in a good showing before the year is out.

They're a great bunch of guys though and we all keep learning and improving our game with every round, it'll happen in the future, I'm sure

Let's not forget what happened when Dave got the reverse grid at Knockhill with the Focus though...

Austin yet again demonstrated why it's completely unbelievable that he has such a following from quite a large group of fans.

Do they still believe they own part of his team even though he doesn't run his own cars anymore and is just using their cash to help fund his drive in the Toyota? hehe
I think the answer to that would be a fairly consistent 'no' if you asked them.

The whole 'owners club' thing came around when he was running his own team without any real sponsors, he basically did some crowdfunding, which other racers have done before and since.

The reason it's still going is because people still want to contribute and however you look at it, it's more money towards the costs, he'd be mental to stop taking people's money.

People pay loads of money to Dread to wear team gear and I'm pretty sure not a single penny goes to the teams but nobody questions anyone supporting teams in that way, weird, huh?

The incident on Sunday with Sutton wasn't really his fault, he was hit from behind by Epps (I think) and ended up on the grass, because the racing is so close, he ended up in the side of a car and it happened to be Sutton, could have been anyone though. If the cars were spread out a bit more, he probably would have sailed on through and had a bump all on his own, but we want close racing so...

They did swap cars. For a test session before Snetterton, and discovered that the poor performance was down to an issue with Plato's car.

You're assuming Wolfie was referring to the test, I'm assuming he was referring to the race. Whose assumption is correct?...

I'm just guessing, but presumably the front bumper wasn't sturdy enough for JP's driving style?
