Just spotted this - I'm running RoR entries this year.

So far we have 44 entries with another couple confirmed and awaiting payment. We've just asked the MSA for an extension and got the thumbs up - so grid this year maxing out at 51 cars/teams.

If you'd like to compete, and we'd love you to, drop us an email at ror@missionmotorsport.org and that'll come to me.

Up to 12hrs from 10 this year, both extra hours in the dark!

Of those entered quite a few yet to confirm specific car/class. Of those who have it breaks down to:

1800cc - 6

2000cc - 7

Lotus - 5

Caterham - 8

Invitational - 3

Well done. Our C1 finished second in class. Sadly I had to withdraw from the MX5 seat I was in due to to ongoing recovery after my accident at the 24hr race at Spa a few weeks ago. Was rather strange watching via TSL.

Disappointing race for us after getting pole and fastest lap, both by over 1.5 seconds, we went from a 1 minute lead to 16 laps down after 6 hours due to accident damage. Still, we made the finish and were 5th of the single car entries (relaying isn't proper endurance racing biggrin ).

A very humbling experience and great to be a part of it. Can't wait for next year's race!

We definitely had the best looking car there anyway. biggrin

Just back after an epic weekend.....we were the first single car entry in the two litre class to cross the line, as above tag teams aren't endurance racing!

See you all next year

Stints are still the same! Still just as knackered at the end hehe

We might not relay next year however this year it was good we did, one car blew an engine and another broke an engine mount and parted ways with its bonnet pins!

No, no ABS on ours. Just a 1.8 rover engine and box and added lightness. wink

Surprised if it was spitting flames. It was using no fuel all weekend!

Hmm might have been another white Lotus then, there were a couple! You all look the same at 100+mph into a hairpin from where I sit hahaha

Agree with you, it was the best looking car there. Don’t agree about the relaying though ;-)

You set the fastest lap but that was under the min lap time of 1:38.995, did you get a penalty for it? We were lifting on start/finish straight to keep over it.

You've got to admit it is much easier to go quick when relaying. If you get a problem with the car you just send another one out whereas with a single car you have to fix it so lose loads of time in the pits. That's proper endurance racing. wink

Where did you get your minimum lap time info from ?
