I've just heard that Aiden Moffat is off to BMR
Ha ha! If only that were true!

and Cicely have got hold of three licenses for this season.

No wonder they call this the "silly season".

if cicely have 3 license then one will be from Aiden team
Correct. That TBL is owned by Laser Tools Racing, not Ciceley.

Whispers of Goff going to Dynamics on some other forums, he's already a Honda brand ambassador and promotes their new Type R regularly (they've given him one for the year again), he's got big team experience with WSR (and Eurotech I guess) and he's proven himself to be very quick in a Honda already.

Would be a shame if true though, the year with Eurotech has helped the team and he would have a good understanding of the car rather than having to re-learn a new one.

They did but this is silly season!

There’s a couple of names being banded around for the Honda seat who already have a place with another team, Jack Goff and Mat Jackson. It’s been mentioned by more than one person elsewhere so who knows?

Goff seems like a lovely guy but I think he's just too nice. Seems to lack that last little bit of killer instinct sometimes (I'd put Morgan in that group too)

Jackson would be a beast in that civic smile

888? You mean bmr or the old bkr team 888 went all bar name when it got bought by bmr.
Bmr are broke big time so needed funds hence sale of 888 name and cars to amd also highly likely the sale of 1/2 of it's own tbl.

One they have outstanding bills with engine company 2 the sale of the mgs and tbl, hardly ny testing over the winter, doesn't look good does it.

were recruiting engineers only a couple of weeks ago... no shortage of £££ there if you could see the land they have sold off for housing around the town, more the case if the Scotts are loosing enthusiasm to continue backing it to the same extent.

Cicely to run a second Merc (of their own) this year, with Tom Oliphant in the seat. They bought Lines' TBL from Maximum (who are officially not running this year).

Tom Onslow Cole tweeted

“We came so very close to a professional return to #BTCC but sadly I’m not sure that’s even possible anymore 🤷🏽‍♂️

Thanks for the hype... stay tuned for my 2018 adventures! 🚗💨”

But has now confirmed a drive in the GT open. Seems to suggest that there was non paid drive available to him.

why would a team pay him though, when everyone else is willing to pay to drive?

No disrespect to him, but he isn't Jenson.

The teams are not a charitable venture.

I’d say that’s more likely the funding didn’t come through

Wasn’t he funded through his dad’s business connections around gas?
