Also worth noting that Speedworks have tweeted a picture of the Avensis at Autosport bearing Ingrams name and number, either they’re lazy with removing stickers from a car they won’t be using again... or they’ve let the cat out of the bag on the sly.

no surprise there!

very strong team I reckon, could be one a contender for the Independents Championship.

AMD confirmed as having the MGs, shock of the century right there, nobody saw that coming...

Also Honda Yuasa Racing have said Neal and Shedden are at Autosport, on their stand, talking about the 2018 season so that’s a given, as expected.

His contract didn't end until after Autosport apparently, hence the appearance.

Massive news, there were a couple of rumours floating around after the WTCR news but even so, I think most people expected a full BTCC season plus the WTCR rounds which didn't clash.

It's a huge seat to fill, can't think of anyone who they'd have up their sleeve other than Huffy.

Then in a couple of years they're going to be doing this all over again!

Both Ingram and Goff are already signed for this year though.

You know who currently doesn’t have the seat he had last year as the team is only running two cars? Rory Butcher... Shedden’s brother in law.....

Yeah I think that makes them a pretty strong team.

Speedworks have confirmed Ingram this morning, first time they’ve mentioned his name this year so that’s good to see.

Might put a few quid on him for the overall crown this year, he was very strong at the start of last year so should be again.

Another championship or another team who has already announced their full lineup?

There’s a rumour floating around on another forum about someone who drives a yellow car switching allegiance but I can’t see it.

I still think Huff is best fit but Tordoff would be a great shout too, he’s definitely keen to come back from what he’s been saying.

Whispers of Goff going to Dynamics on some other forums, he's already a Honda brand ambassador and promotes their new Type R regularly (they've given him one for the year again), he's got big team experience with WSR (and Eurotech I guess) and he's proven himself to be very quick in a Honda already.

Would be a shame if true though, the year with Eurotech has helped the team and he would have a good understanding of the car rather than having to re-learn a new one.

I thought they announced last week he was staying at Eurotech?
They did but this is silly season!

There’s a couple of names being banded around for the Honda seat who already have a place with another team, Jack Goff and Mat Jackson. It’s been mentioned by more than one person elsewhere so who knows?
