Sometimes you just have to put it in plain English so someone like Mark Skaife can understand.

Has anyone had any luck finding the Melbourne races online? Can’t find anything anywhere

I think they are very quick to scrub them from youtube etc. Your best bet is to sign up for the SuperView (£35 ish quid for the whole season) to watch the races, they keep up all the previous races from the given season (so Adelaide and Melbourne are up)

Had Superview for the last 2 years, but they don’t show Melbourne, because the F1 is on a different channel anything also shown at the F1 event can only be shown on TV by that channel in Aus or just don’t bother putting it on.

Looks like the V6 turbo Holden engine is being binned off. I might be alone with this but it’s a shame to be honest.

I know they were having some performance issues. I wonder if the new ZB body made things worse.

I just hope it isn’t a precursor to Holden pulling out completely.

Yes i'd heard this too, the costs were rising & teams were looking at the running costs which would've been more plus most fans want the V8's to stay.

Also Lexus (who are rumoured to be joining) have a naturally aspirated V8 ready to go.

Some good racing today not action packed (unless your name was Fabian) but good hard pressure racing, also big shout out to Jack Lebrocq who was my driver of the day.

Shame to see the Tickford Fords still have that tight set up window that they seem to miss more than they hit.

With Holden sales in the toilet I don't think Holden will be supporting this category for too many more seasons.

Looks like Ford are maintaining at least a level of support for the series.

Ford have confirmed they will continue support V8 Supercars & that the Mustang will be used from 2019 onwards, it'll be powered by the N/A V8 so no Ecoboost for the time being.

An excellent race 1 with close racing all over the place JW will be rueing his mistake but that should mean race two is a cracker.

to Wanneroo tomorrow (15 minutes from home) to have a look and say G'day to my old mate Garth. Can't say I'm excited about this series, and I'm amazed that it seems to have a following on here given the fantastic racing you have in England! Carbon copy cars following each other around for lap after lap isn't exactly great racing...

Watch & listen to one BTCC/WTCC race & you'll look at your series in a whole different light.

Unfortunately we don't seem to get any of those here, but the ones I have seen have been fantastic. I assume that the clowns that run the Australian circus somehow prevent decent racing being shown on TV here to protect their "product"

Some hard thought & earned positions this weekend the Nissans are continuing show good form & it was also a good show by the Tickford Fords.
