Rain!
Looks heavy, too.
edit: Norris is a bit special isn't he?
Norris was amazing. He was entering turn one at "he'll never stop that" speed, every lap. Must have been 5 or 6 car lengths later on the brakes than most of the field, and smooth. Looks heavy, too.

I tried talking to a local about him...yeah... didn't get further than "Alonso's team mate".

I'm casting it to my TV is anyone else having it drop out a few times (often more than once in 5 mins) then be fine for hours? Or it might just be local to me.
I've had that on and off for the last several hours. Refreshing the page seems to instantly restore service.Another great Daytona 24hrs, although beset by more tyre issues than I recall seeing at a motorsport event. Only four full-course yellows over the whole 24hrs made it a real endurance event rather than a manipulated close finish – even the two Fords in GTLM broke the old distance record, showing how well they ran. The two Fords ran flawlessly (aside from an early cross-threaded wheel nut for the eventual winner #67) which few others managed, and overall BoP looked pretty good. A cracking result for Lamborghini, too.
One day I hope will get to see it for real!

Fabulous.
Hope you had a good time. Did you get any feedback from the US fans regarding the race - some comments on various forums suggest it was 'boring' due to lack of full-course yellows - I think even the Corvette teams were hoping for more FCYs in order to keep pace.
I watched about 6 hours of it via IMSA.tv and thought it was pretty good, overall. The winning Cadillac and Fords in GTLM ran like clockwork, making the wins look easy - if a 24hour endurance event can ever be 'easy', that is.
