Gill was alright, apart from his inability to pronounce names properly! Markku A lane! Always miffed me. Always preferredTony Mason, more insight and knowledge and also Tiff was an excellent rally presenter aswell in my eyes.

He was the forerunner to the pitlane man in f1 back then too.

No, without checking I don't know how long James Hunt has been dead, but what I said is still correct. My recollections of James are more recent than my recollections of Peter Scott-Russell.
