You must be someone very special, very well connected or have a silly amount of money. I work in motorsport and that sort of access is impossible for 99.9% of people.

What a special day out for a dad and son.

Looking forward to talking my two to their first motor-racing event at the WEC Silverstone in August!

Thanks for the comments. We had a great time and we're looking forward to doing it all again this year!

WEC at Silverstone is a great family day out, really well organised and loads to do for kids. Also great access for everybody. I was there last year with my son - and also at Le Mans. I can definitely recommend a trip to Le Mans if you like endurance racing, really good fun.

I'll be back at Silverstone and Le Mans again this year to watch endurance racing. Hoping to see Fernando win Le Mans for Toyota.

Looking at the pics, its very hard to understand just how big a percentage of the budget has been spunked on look at me hospitality versus actual motorsport......

The hospitality is a massive money maker for the teams and Formula 1. It's incredible the money spent by investors and sponsors to be in those locations.

All an important part of motorsport (like it or not) and the revenue ultimately helps a team to build a faster race car, which is what we all want.

Counting the days now until the 2018 season start. Feels like it's been forever....
