Proctor penalised for hitting Turkington and demoted to the back of the grid for a third strike. Each further strike is now race bans for him - not a good position to be in at the second meeting of the season!

If you believe Harvey no one knew the safety car was out, rubbish they all have radios, they were all taking the piss.

Sham Ollie got punted by Collard, but it does seem most of the new drivers are a lot cleaner,

I’m told ‘race to the line’ over the radio and rules are either that or until you get to the yellow flags and SC boards. Usually they’re put out around the whole track more or less straight away but to be fair for some reason I only got one at the chicane

Yeah bit unnecessary that, to be fair it didn’t look half as bad on the telly as it felt in the car!

It was quite obvious watching the coverage that there were no boards out till the end of the lap.

I was looking for them and pretty sure they weren’t out when I went through in about P15ish

If they backed off as soon as the teams say "SC" that would cause even more problems as radios are not 100% reliable and there are always blackspots. Race until flag/board/SC is seen is the only real way it can work.

Whole load of people don’t seem to be able to distinguish a SC board hanging on the fence round the back of a marshal hut vs. one on display for drivers out the front of a hut

There were no SC boards on display until the majority of the pack were at the chicane like you said.

I was going with what Harvey was saying, but he's the bloke who calls a full on punt a tap, so I should know better.

Wookie. Did you report Mr Collard to the stewards after race 2?

It's just that there is no mention of him in the post race penalties?

https://www.touringcartimes.com/2018/04/30/jack-goff-amongst-donington-park-penalties/

Or was it deemed a 'racing incident?'
