Do you work for BMR or something?

A copy and paste article from the main sponsor providing literally no interest or news. Just regurgitating what someone in their office has read on Touring Car Times...

There is far more info than I've read on Touring Car times. They talked about generalities where as the blog article goes into detail on exactly what was changed, how it affected the car, the detail of what was wrong with the boost calculation, why it's a perfect storm of events that led them to the front etc etc.

Also interesting that every overtake Plato made in race 2 was into the hairpin. I certainly hadn't read that anywhere else.

If you just want to ignore information that can help explain what so many people think is blatant cheating then that's fair enough. Far more people read the posts here than comment (for obvious reasons given the general level of aggression all over Piston Heads forums) so many others might find it interesting to read.

Personally, I'd place more value on the views of one of the other drivers on the grid over a fluff PR piece by one of the major sponsors of the team.

I think it'll be interesting to see how the Subarus perform at the next meeting or two though.

i just thought the rear wing/spoiler on the subaru looked higher - is it more effective if it sticks up a bit? Would it help in corners and slow them down on straights (at speed traps!)... and will the longer roof work to their advantage?

Were the Subarus nosing down much under braking? I suppose they might have been running more rake angle, dropping the nose and raising the rear to provide more downforce, so faster in the corners, later braking but slower on the straights. With the extra boost they were given used to accelerate out of the corners.
