WEC Silverstone Camping

Hey guys,
We are going to the WEC in August for the first time and wondered if anyone knew if the camping includes Thursday night? We are around 4 hours drive away so don't fancy getting there mid day Friday and missing some of the track action.
Also are the electric hook up points closer to the facilities? We have an 18 month old so starting to think electric would be rather handy!
