Should be judged on the incident and not the result. The crucial bit will be the movement of Lotterer and whether he braked at the normal time. Given how fast P3 was closing in I'd say Lotterer was braking early in a few places.
I agree and would add I think the result should stand clearly a racing incident and those final 2 laps his pace had dropped off was notably slower and Mortarra was able to catch SB, in no way was he trying to punt him off deliberately.I’ve watched all the FE races this year it’s a big improvement from years before have been enjoying watching this.
Also the Jag electric 4x4 races are ‘interesting’ totally pointless but funny to see something different like that .
Was up early so watched the Hong Kong race as it was live on BBC2.
Nope, I`m afraid it`s not for me.
As much as anything it`s the noise, after 45 minutes that whine becomes really irritating ! Some close racing but the camera works isn`t great and the circuits are so slow in places it just doesn`t look exciting to watch.
You want some sense of speed when watching on TV and it didn`t give me that.
5 seconds seems a fair penalty. He`s lucky it wasn't more

Didn't know it was on so missed it, daft that with multiple carriers that neither have catch up or on demand replay of it, have to wait till 10:30 tonight for highlights!
Crap that with so much capacity these channels can't deliver the product, there must be several annoyed fans.

ABB Formula E's official YT channel has the full race up, though currently only with a stupid, talkalong by some no-nothing nobody's from InstaTwitBook.Crap that with so much capacity these channels can't deliver the product, there must be several annoyed fans.
Expect the full race up shortly; they're pretty good at getting it online quickly.
I think the accusations from Lotterer are a bit rich given how rough he has been since joining FE.
One thing they really need to get on top of is the consistency of the penalties. There are incidents when a car ends up in the wall from heavy contact and nothing happens and then there is a contact that 9 times out of 10 would lead to nothing and a driver loses a race win because it causes a puncture.
Shame there were so many safety cars. Bird was in a different league with energy management and would have easily gone by in the last few laps.
