Great coverage on BT Sport this morning, assume that it's just the WRC Live stuff being used. Hope this continues through 2019!

Weird tyre combinations this morning to deal with the slippery conditions.

Meeke going Studs, SS, Studs SS
Tanak going SS, Studs, SS, Studs

....in weird, cross-car (diagonal) set ups.

The complete opposite of anything recommended for a road or track setup.

Evans and Mikkelsen out this morning, with no restart for tomorrow. Ogier very lucky to survive a big moment!

Tanak a bit lucky too, he was wide in the same place as Evans but managed to keep it on the road.

Evans slid along the side of the road forever.

He must have been thinking "I've got this, no I haven't, yes I have, No I haven't, yes, no, st!"

Outside view of Mikkelsen's crash, bit of brain fade?

Immediately after, he said he had it "flat" in his pacenotes to try and keep speed up into the finish. I guess he didn't amend his intentions in light of road conditions, as he had been going pretty well up to then.

As ever, surviving the Monte is a lottery, and tyre choices a massive gamble.
Who do we think the top five will be ?

1. Ogier
2. Neuville
3. Tanak
4. Loeb
5. Meeke

The onboard showed that he messed the corner up, had two bites at it on turn in and ran wide... into a pretty big tree.

If I remember rightly , Loeb started these kind of set ups in WRC few years ago and proved to work very well.

I can't believe after basically zero testing and the Dakar a week ago, he still in podium contention.

I can see Neuville doing something not right before the end for some reasons...

Last stage of the day at 2pm?! I know they have a 3 hour drive to Monaco, but surely they could fit another test in on the way down? Monte has gone soft!

Only 4 stages today, is that right? Total of 16? (6 yesterday & tomorrow?)

In the "good old days", that was one night's work!

Exactly!!
Though to be fair, it gives them time to watch the start of the Rolex 24 from Daytona......

Tanka into 3rd, with the top 2 only 3 seconds apart and claiming small issues with the car.

Gutted I’ve got to go out for the day and miss the finale!

the last stage will be epic. Ogier struggling with throttle problems, Neuville pushing hard and Tanak flying!

What a result for Ogier. Thought it was going to go Neuville way especially with Ogier issue.

Does anyone know when the highlights of the event are on UK tv?

Channel 5 still got WRC?

At the moment there are no FTA highlights. You'll have to watch the daily highlights on RedBull TV.....

Have to say, considering all the cliches about the Monte being a lottery; since the last IRC Monte in 2011; only Loeb & Ogier have won it.

Yes Ogier. He really is pretty good. Is that win number 6 in succession on this event? I think so.

Gus Greensmith finishing 7th and 1st in WRC2 was a decent result too.

Thank you mate. Don't think Red Bull TV is on Sky frown

Loeb and Ogier are just too good. The weather wasn't as bad as previous years which should have given the others more of a chance.

Neuville got close but.................
