Give the new BMW to pretty much any team on the grid they'll be up there.
Rwd off the line, ultra slippery aero.. the power, it bascially being mid engined..all combined with ballast not effecting it atall.. it's clearly an unfair advantage and need to be pegged.
Everybody but WSR can see this and everybody including drivers (Even drivers who don't normally pipe up) have said this one stage or another since race 1.
They were fast enough to peg the Subaru... vw etc etc.
Also, can't over take? It's okay just ram the guy in front out if the way... poor effort turk. 'That was always the plan'? Of course it was.

They shouldn't have pegged the Subaru back either with the CofG adjustment nonsense. It had it's weakness in not being as quick in a straight line so it's lap times were never that different to anyone else.
The cock up with Subaru was giving them such a massive boost increase they were putting a car and a half length on anything else from the hairpin to the chicane at Oulton Park. And most of that came from Plato meaning his car was slow in a straight line, after complaining that rear wheel drive cars had an advantage so helping to bring one into the championship.... After doing badly in that and going back to front wheel drive he's back to banging the rear wheel drive is unfair drum again.

Race 3 is a classic
Just had to play catch up, I said early on it was going to end a lot like this... https://youtu.be/qJIrYDln7yg
Interesting the reviews from the TV, I think their feedback was fair, BUT finish off saying it was entertaining? Well, ye, I might get slated for this, but I thoroughly enjoyed that last race!
I think the only move plato can be reprimanded for was the one just after Sutton got past
Rest was either racing or the 3 into 1 was ALWAYS going to end badly and will always be for the bloke on the outside

I think at turn 4 Plato turned in on a fairly normal line and tagged him. Sutton looked to me to have outbraked himself on the tighter line and wasn’t getting turned in.
The three abreast one looked like they called it after the race, Plato outbraked himself on that one and just understeered in to Sutton. That one I think he’ll be in trouble for.
But, I’ve spent enough time in race control to know that until you’ve seen both onboards and any data available, you’re never going to get a real feel for the situation.
Thing is though, Sutton has pushed people off, Adam Morgan the other race meeting for one, and I'm sorry but he was rubbing Plato too, if you're going to go around the outside you've got to accept that the car on the inside can run wide, whether on purpose or not. I think he needs to re-watch that race and see that he was rubbing just as much...
That was experienced defending, plato placing the car exactly where it needed to be. Sutton was just pissed he couldn't make mincemeat of plato, then run off in the distance.
Sutton is FAR from squeaky clean and the Matt neal style rant in the interview was plain to see.

For me all the doorhandle bumping round the outside stuff, running Sutton onto the grass etc, was all fair enough. What I can't stand is when the (very good) move was finally completed, it was just a simple, roll off the brakes, nudge him on and take it back move.
And to the poster a couple above who said Plato turned in on his normal line and Sutton outbraked himself - you must have candyfloss in between your ears if you didn't think Plato knew exactly what he was doing!

But as he also said untill you see the on boards it's quite difficult to know for sure, looked like he tried to turn and possibly both of them out braked themselves, or Sutton slowed down more than plato was expecting to try and avoid an attack afterwards etc untill you see all the data it's hard to know.
What I will say is I enjoyed it, its was a great watch, I wouldn't say it was brainless or dangerous, I don't blame Sutton for being like he was after, when your so pumped up your going to overspill, let's not get too precious over reactions when they're filled with adrenaline etc
I miss the days of having proper rivalrys between drivers, yes often the driving was 'pig headed' but say for example when neal and plato came up behind each other you were glued to the TV to see what was going to happen!

Just want to give a big thanks to Wookie, anyone that stops Matt Neal from finishing a race is a hero in my book!
Haven't seen or heard Matt blaming Wookie for that yet.Looked to me like he was asleep and Ollie went for a legitimate gap and Neal turned into him.
