Mantas Sliogeris wins Gymkhana GRID RWD in his 200 bhp road legal MX5. Competing against fully prepared, high horse power drift cars. Including Daigo Saito's 800 bhp Supra.

Amazing bit of car control.

Isn't driving based/graded on 'style' and opinions of the judges. Nothing at all do to do with suspension, power or if a car is road legal or not? confused

Well, we've found the "motorsport" I want to watch least. Cool smile

Mantas Sliogeris used to compete in UK AutoSolos. Maybe he still does.

Having watched that, I don't feel so bad that he absolutely trounced me.

On a "track" like that BHP is pretty meaningless when you get to a certain point and anything over it is probably more of a hindrance than anything.

Fairly obvious it is timed too isn't it? What with you know... the clock in the corner? I think 300BHP you are thinking more of drifting.

Still its cool to see a good driver in a more standard car winning out over some big power stuff.
