So again, how is the incident with Neal which took points off turkington any different to countless incidents throughout the year involving other drivers which equally affected the points standings?
Well for me it’s because it yet again involves that cheating Matt Neal.
....right....so what you’re saying is it’s ok for others to cheat.....but not for Matt Neal, and because he ‘cheats’ his teammate deserves the bad fortune and karma.

Wow....dumb logic Einstein.

If that’s the level BTCC fans have sunk to these days......

Did anyone see the Ginetta GT4 Supercup race in ITV4 this afternoon? Wtf was Colin White doing getting out of the car on the grid with the 30 sec board showing?? V dangerous.

I have regularly been on grids where the 30 sec board is never an indication of 30 secs to go!!! The red lights could have come on almost instantly after the 30 sec board has been withdrawn. It happens. And then there could have been mayhem if the race had started with him still out of the car, trying to get in the car, door open etc.

I find it virtually impossible to do my own belts up without help. Can anyone be sure White was properly strapped in; how does anyone know the belts were properly over the HANS device?

The start should have been abandoned imho and he should have been removed from the grid for being a pillock!

Completely agree...bad from race control not to delay the start (admittedly it probably caught them completely off guard) but I expect better from a driver with the experience of Colin

My god that was intense, cracking race and Turks really showing his class there. It was a shame DC lost it in the end the way he did, Matt Neal comes across as a right arrogant . Also gutted for AJ, he done well considering his issues earlier in the season.

Never had an issue with doing my own belts up in many sports and tin top cars. Can't imagine why he would have an issue.

Going into this round I was supporting Jordan and Cammish as Jordan may not be in the BTCC next year and Cammish hasn't won before.
Has Aj lost his drive for next year?!

Its not the doing them up its trying to do them up in a hurry under pressure and then getting in a muddle, getting out of the car was absolutely crazy I have never seen that done before he must have known it would give him a penalty.

He's lost Pirtek as his main sponsor for next year so has said it's unlikely he can afford to continue to race in the BTCC. Would be a real shame if that happens.

I feel sorry for Dan Camish let’s see if there is a reason he went off like brake issues as he is a class driver it’s unlike him to make a mistake maybe he locked up a rear due to brake problems with those front disks glowing red the full race distance.
Post race interview had him saying his brake pedal went to the floor and he hit the throttle on its way down

If he makes it back next season we probably won't hear about it until days before the first race. The commentators also said it was possibly the last race for the Subarus and Shredded Wheat so there might be a few people missing next year.

Personally I think AJ will concentrate on JRT and historic's. He seems to really enjoy that. Maybe a few sponsor/guest drives occasionally?

Great final 3 races today it’s what the BTCC is all about.
However, it’s not luck that top 3 places were only separated by 3 points, but rather down to the expertise/intervention of Alan Gow fking with the boost levels throughout the season to ensure it always comes down to round 10, every year.
For at least the last 10 years anyway.

He's lost the sponsor backing, so no cash to pay for the drive.

You’re new to BTCC aren’t you. Never mind, watch it again next year and you might catch up or even learn to understand what people are posting.

No, I’ve been watching and been involved in Motorsport for over 20 years.

I understand exactly what people are saying...but I also disagree with people wishing bad karma on one drivers for another actions. It’s utterly pathetic

As I thought, a newbie, when you’ve been doing it a decent amount of time you’ll understand the passion.

Aside from all the talk over Turkington, Cammish, Neal, karma, etc, congrats to Plato on finally getting a win in the Astra this year. I'm sure that will have annoyed a number of PH'ers far more than Neal's, was it or wasn't it deliberate, move on Turkington in race 2 hehegetmecoat

Fair play to him for also managing to get in another, end of season, dig at BMR in the interview with Louise hehe

Congrats to Turkington on the win, but also gutting for Cammish given how it came to an end - but you did wonder how long his car was going to last brakes wise as every shot they had of his car his brakes were glowing far more than any other one.

Nice to see Ollie getting some more TV screen time too.

It was the start of a green flag lap though

Ummmm when has it ever been acceptable to get out of your car on the grid at the start of the green flag lap? There’s a reason mechanics are removed a few minutes beforehand...
