BTCC 2020 Rumour Mill
Discussion
Just watched the first three races on catch up Not knowing the results ( I missed it on Sunday as was racing at Cadwell) - great start to the season and good racing all down the grid. Ash Sutton And Tom Ingram were absolutely on the limit all weekend great to watch.
Looking forward to this weekends races at Brands I think Sutton Cammish and Turkington are going to be battling at the front all year!

One thing I know for sure however is that Rob Gravett will be driving the Motorbase Kia Cee'd this year.
LOL....how did that go then ?Being serious though, i reckon Rob would have caused far less damage to other cars than Andy Neate has this year

I was lucky enough to get a passenger ride around donnington in a Ford Escort WRC car. It was a Ford RS day back in about 1998/9.
It was driven by one of the works test drivers. Still to this day I don’t know how a car can stay on a track at that speed. The thought of doing it on snow or gravel between rows of trees just seems insane.
Much Respect.
I’d willingly chuck a couple hundred quid in to have a pro driver take me for a couple of laps.
I was lucky enough to get invited to do VIP with Rob Austin at Rockingham in 2018 thanks to a fellow PH. As can be seen from the image. A lot of the electronics and ballast goes in the passenger seat position.
I once got taken round Oulton by Jonny Adam. I’ve done a few track days etc. but it blew my mind. Simply another level. It was in a road spec car but the braking points were bonkers and the fact he was chatting away at the same time as if it was a leisurely drive out. It was driven by one of the works test drivers.
