BT Sport seem to have messed up their Extra channels this more. Current stage isn't being streamed..
It's on Extra 3.
Thanks. Found it on the laptop. They’ve messed it up on the App.

Thus, they swapped it from Extra 1 to Extra 2 yesterday, luckily I thought to do some channel hopping smile

Is there any way to record the Extra Live streams ?

And anyone know if you can get to the Extra channels on the app? Only seems available when they provide a direct link, and that’s been wrong this morning.

Seems the same in the webpage, but you can google search for the Extra channels and you can do a log in. Bit odd.

Neuville wins! Late charge today to overtake Ogier and Evans, Ogier beats evans by 1.5 seconds so Evans is third! Jesus so close yet so far!

Fair play to Thierry, a well deserved win. Absolutely smashed them in ss2 and then this morning.

Elfyn must be disappointed, but it's still a great result and gives a decent road position for Sweden. If the event goes ahead that is!!

Why's that? Lack of snow?

A brilliant drive by TN.
EE has nothing to be ashamed of though, it was hugely impressive drive (and his times on Friday morning were superb) to do what he did in a new car and team was incredible (all the moreso when his team mate is a multiple world champion and TN a WRC runner up)
Let’s hope Elfyn’s star only shines brighter still this season.

I like Elfyn, a very fast driver, particularly on tarmac. However nearly every time he is in the running on the final day he comes off second ( or third) best. I can think of this happening twice at Corsica, once at Argentina. Fundamentally I think he suffers from the 'yips' He would do well to see a sports psychiatrist or similar.

Another new closed road event announced, based in Stranraer. I can see UK forest rallying mostly disappearing in the next few years, the closed road events are filling their entries quickly while forest events continue to struggle.

Yes I can see there being less forest rallies, but I don't think they will disappear all together.

Have always loved closed roads rallying, so not all bad news.

Closed roads could be the saviour of rallying in the UK. It's the only way new people are going to get interested in it, take the events to the people rather than hide them away in a forest miles from anyway. Seems to work in Belgium, France etc anyway.

A few select forest events may survive but I can see such as the BRC and SRC switching to an all-tar format within 5 years eg Scotland already has Mull, Jim Clark and the new Coast to Coast event + the Argyll rally should hopefully be running next year. Add to those such as the North West Stages, Clacton, Ceredigion and the planned Herefordshire event and you've got a decent championship. The BRC in particular needs something like that as it seems to be dying again after the hype of three years ago.

Great vids Ally! Its a sorry affair when the highlights by fans are better than the official packages by the broadcasters! The rebull TV stuff has gone dire this season. Maybe they don't pay for the better highlights package now as they have no car sponsorship going on this year?

Great to see the Toyota newbies on it from the off, hopefully the Elfyn doubters will see he is a class driver who deserves to be there and have more wins under his belt, this season should see him add to his tally.

Great to see Breen in the i20 for Sweden, if its still running and not some shadow of itself like a few years ago. Dropping Loeb is a big choice but Adamo knows what hes doing.
There has been chatter online if Loeb has passed it now and shouldn't be in the car, but imho he just lacks seat time. other than a test run in the i20 at Rallye du Varand testing hes not had the same time in a car as the main Hyundai field. I still think hes got it, could even be a contender if in a full season.

Interestingly I noticed that Hyundai were not running the areo/rear bumpers they'd been seen with during testing. bumper more noticeable as they'd tested with the exhaust centrally as Ford/Toyota are.

If the first round of the year is anything to go by the season should be another goodun!

Riponian rally due to take place on Sunday (9th) has been cancelled due to the forecast high winds.
with it being cancelled so near the date the club will suffer a large financial loss. Just hope the event can survive.

A shame for the organisers, but the FC don't allow access when winds are forecasted over 47mph, so I've read. One hopes they can get another date, but it's difficult, especially in the Yorkshire forests.

Anyway, the BRC starts tomorrow, with the Cambrian Rally....

Even less entries than last year I think and very few R5s? It seems those drivers with the money to run R5s are preferring to do such as the North West Stages. I'm struggling to see what the point of the BRC is these days, they're not even getting extra mileage on the Cambrian.
