Yes you must be pleased the sky sports f1 showed the race. More exposure for you and the series
Yes, it really raises the profile of the championship and therefore IM too.

My focus now is to keep on raising the profile of this fantasitc championship, which doesn't get the mainstream attention and credit I believe it deserves!

Great championship. Loved watching the Oulton Park race, and being in the paddock.

On a side note Julian.....
Grey trousers + presenting the trophies + champagne being sprayed = risky business!
I was absolutely soaked at the end of it and looked like I had wet myself! biggrin

Glad you enjoyed Oulton, we have more PHer plans for next year... wink

What a cracking weekend!

Posted similar to the finance thread, but belongs here:
Went infield to sport this - remember folks, speeding is dangerous!

& I still maintain this race would be stunning - look at the downforce on this lot!

It was great meeting up Mike and you took some great photos (which I may have to share some of this weekend!).

Hi, We are running an Audi RS3 in TCR-UK which is suporting your first 2 rounds in 2022.

As you are involved with the British GT, just wondered if you would have any info regarding the circuit attendance figures for 2021 at Oulton & Donington or advance or expected ticket sales for this year at these rounds?

I have a meeting with a new sponsor tomorrow (wednesday) and I have been trawling the internet for information regarding previous gate figures with no luck.
Sure, I will get these for you and post back in a day or two. smile

Hi, I've just heard back.

There were no proper figures kept for these two races last year as there didn't seem much point. The last attendance figures pre-covid were 2019 and were:

Donington 1 = 9,000
Olton Park - 12,500
Donnington 2 - 10,000

I know the expectation this year, as the first full season open since the above, is to smash these out of the park though.

I hope this is of some help and look forward to seeing you there!

Planning on attending Oulton on BH Monday.
See there is a 'display' car parking area. Anybody used this before?

I guess IM will have a presence there somewhere.

Hoping its a warm one!
We certainly will do, and yes, it better be warm!

Thanks very much to IM for tickets for Oulton Park. Is there any hospitality available at SRO on the Saturday or is it just Monday?
Just Monday I'm afraid! No problem and enjoy! I won't be able to make it (going back to Portugal tomorrow) but Nik will be there. Thinking about it, that will probably make it even more enjoyable!

Is parking on grass or tarmac? Do they have tarmac for VIP hospitality?

I've never been but if I'm parking on soggy grass then that will determine which car I take.

So this is my first time and very excited, looking forward to it.
As Steve says,it is grass for VIP parking at Donny I am afriad - but it is closest to the entrance!

Did anyone just do what normal people do and pay to get in, jeez or is this special club for rich people only!
If you would like free tickets just ask! Obviously the VIP stuff goes very quickly to PHer clients of IM, but we try to sort things for everyone where we can! smile

Julian, do you know who the series have contracted with this season for the trucking of all the cars & paraphernalia between circuits? Genuine reason for asking (as they say!).
Hi mate, I'm not involved at team level unless it is a social or promotional thing and as Steve H says the trucking is handled at team level.

I can ask around for you though, no problem... smile

I had no idea you could "ask" for tickets for VIP!

I did not know what the link was here, just seemed to be a group of folks talking about a VIP club.

Not sure I have the wardrobe for VIP sadly

But apologies for the confusion
The VIP passes get you onto the grid walk, pit lane tour and the hospitality with breakfast, lunch and drinks. Its all very casual! They do get grabbed very quickly though!

Intelligent Money is the title sponsor and also sponsors the Finance forum here, so there has become a group/club of us through PHers having a lot of talk on the Finance forums, becoming clients of IM and also metting up at the races. Feel free to join in if you like!
