It’s a little damp up at Donington today but the IM jacket is keeping me dry. Thanks again Julian and the rest of the IM team.

No problem Mark and I hope you are enjoying it!

Great photo! smile

Ooh, they do look smart! My waterproof isn't as waterproof as I first thought! Excellent racing though cloud9

Dry line appearing which could make for some hard tyre decisions!

It certainly looks a bit misty there but seems like you've got a good viewing point.

Have you considered being a model. You're showing off that jacket very nicely.

I reckon Julian should pay you for modelling it.biggrin

It was rather misty and a bit damp today.....

This fella was the only one to find the gravel in the main race....not once, not twice, but THREE times hehe

& everyone stayed clear of this battling competitor:

No problem Mike

Glad you had a good day yesterday and I hope the drizzle clears up quickly for today.

I might see you if I can get there myself today, but if not I will be at Donington 2 anyway, as I am being interviewed for the TV coverage at that one, so if you want to return I'll see you then!

Cool photo! biggrin

Cheers

A drier weekend in Sept could make a great option!
Cheers!

Despite the dampness, there was some cracking close racing wasn't there!? We must have been about forty feet to the right of you.

The infield at Donington provides some great viewing spots and was well worth the walk from Hollywood up to the Coppice tunnel even with my 5 year old in tow. He has to take credit for the photography.

In regards to the modelling question, one look at my ugly mug and you would have the answer! Although Julian if you are looking for any more “back shots” please get in touch laugh

Went along today with the family. Although the atmosphere wasn’t quite as it has been due to the obvious, the racing was brilliant. The sparse crowd gave a great opportunity to take in all the vantage spots around the track rather than been restricted to one spot.

Downside was the weather being back to a proper British summers day and nearly managed to get my Giulia stuck on the grass bank but it was a great day none the less 👍

I've only just caught up with the first race, that was really exciting. Some great racing.
I'm looking forward to catching up with the second race tomorrow.

Anyone who was down for jackets and baseball caps who has not yet received them, if you are going to Donnington Park this weekend you can pick them up from the Neon Street stand.

Just ask for Phil.

Where’s the best place to keep abreast of things online? Is there a dedicated YouTube channel? Thanks
I can confirm that when you’re actually there on a mizzly misty morning, have your mobile phone on https://www.britishgt.com/live & you can have a live audio stream so you can actually hear the commentator mumbling over the circuit loud(sic)speakers. You can even have a live video stream to see what is happening elsewhere on the track wink

I've now finished watching the second race. That was even more exciting than the first race due to weather conditions but I will so no more so as not to spoil it.

Great to see prominence of IntelligentMoney logos in the sponsorship.
