Am I the only one who sides with Bridgestone and the teams that went out? Michelin made a mistake and theyre responsible for that mistake.

No, you're absolutely not. As stupid as it is, the current scenario is the only fair resolution to the crisis. Michelin is to blame, and they should really be taken to task over this. It isn't the Bridgestone runners' fault that Michelin was so devastatingly ill-prepared.

Yeah, and I can see where its going - F1 is halted from running on the wrong tyres for safety reasons but no one will bother to stop the race due to tins of beer being thrown onto the track.

Its more bloody dangerous out there now than if they run with the wrong tyres.

Absolutely bloody ridiculous.

I'm embarrassed to be an F1 Fan, total shambles. My American colleagues will get much mileage out of this tomorrow

Just remind them what happens when it rains during the 500 then...

Hmmm I can see the point BUT step back and look at the sport!

One team (or ever 6 cars) does not make a sport - they absolutely needed to find some sort of comrpomise (chicane, bridestone to the front of the grid and no michelin point scores) for the sake of the fans.

Did I mishear that fan who was upset at having paid $85 for the race and $25 for Friday and Saturday. By my crude maths that is about £45 for the GP and £15 for Fri and Sat.

And Silverstone is how much ? I would gladly pay £45 to watch even a six car GP !

Let's try to keep it to one thread - too confusing otherwise.
