RE: Plucky TVR team finishes Le Mans
Discussion
What a weekend..... The heat, the racing, the exotic cars, the beer and strangely the lack of hangover even after drinking twice as much as I would normally fall over after (must have been the heat evaporating the alachol directly out of my blood!)
This was my first visit to the Le Mans 24hour and I am already trying to think of a way of getting a pass out for next year.
To those who said that the TVR came last.. pah! There were plenty more cars (around a third) who did not even last the 24 hours and were on much, much bigger budgets.
Congratulations Peninsular
Shame about the Astons but a third in class is still an acheivement.

Poor show all around and little end of race excitement - glad I did not go.
Aston's fragile hair to Corvette's rock solid tortoise
On outright performance, Aston had Corvette covered. Only that the Astons broke, the Corvettes didn't.

Exactly.
This race was a lot of things, dull it was not.
