There’s been a few races in recent years which have had me on the edge of my seat, that’s one of them. Incredible stuff.

So glad it got a restart, I honestly thought it was game over for the day and if that was the case, we’d have missed an awesome race.

Well done Wookie, you deserved that!

Absolute fantastic 12 laps of racing. Very impressive charge from Sutton and well done to The Wookie for a great race from beginning to end!

Having grown and marshalled at Silverstone all through the 70s and 80s I find the modern circuit distant and sterile, but that 12 lapper was fabulous.
Well done the Wookie ! Also Ash Sutton has got to be about the hardest charger in a saloon car for a very long time .

Well done Ollie, great drive and well deserved. Hopefully Rory is not too sore after that shunt and the car can be rebuilt for Croft.

Silverstone National does produce good racing, the BSB round there is always good.

I’m going to echo the 2 main thrusts of this thread!

Well done the Wookie, piston heads first btcc winner ( I’m not counting Plato as he was winning before the internet) hope you get the time to get on here and tell us all about it so that we can tell all our mates that we know a BTCC race winner hehe

and also Andy Neate is a bell end. And this seems to be well known amongst the BTCC people...

I quite like the fact he’s there... listening to Tim Harvey biting his tongue makes it worthwhile, you can tell he really doesn’t like him.

Awesome drive from Ollie. Think the fact that race (the 12 lapper) was absolutely mental just makes it all the sweeter for Ollie. Best race I can remember for a while.

You know someone must be a really massive bell end if one of the nicest people in motorsport doesn't even try and hide how much he dislikes you

Look for repeats ,on ITV ,ITV2 and ITV4.
Steve Ryder gave 3 different dates for reruns of this.
Sorry didn't note them down.
