Just noticed that the Autumn Classic meeting at Castle Combe is on over this weekend, with spectators allowed! Tickets numbers are limited apparently. We've gone to this for years together with the extended family and is a fantastic event. We can't go ourselves as there is a no under 17s restriction so can't leave the 3 (car mad) kids at home. Just posting this for other PHers to enjoy.

Let me know how it was if you go. Here's the link. Note that the paddock is closed sadly this year.

Sat in my car at the circuit, it would be the most 2020 thing ever if my one and only motorsport event of the year gets called off due to weather! Not looking great right now.

Abandoned with no track action at all today, masses of standing water. Gutted for the circuit. 2020 just doesn't let up, does it?!

It’s been horrendous in the West Country all weekend, finally stopped around 1500 but prior to that it was consistently heavy rain. Such a shame as the team there have worked so hard to get events going in the circumstances.

I had a 150 mile round trip without even getting out of the car. Saw lots of trailers with race cars going in the wrong direction and feared a cancellation. I felt sorry for Combe as they tried hard to allow spectators in and had arranged a good meeting. All spoilt by the weather.

Fortunately I was fortunate enough to compete in a sprint at Combe on 18th July so I am pleased to have visited during their 70th anniversary year.

I'm competing at the Pegasus Sprint in a couple of weeks time and then helping out at the CSCC meeting the following week. Hope they have some better luck with those events and it's a positive end to the 70th year. Real shame that the Classic was ruined.

Good to see a late addition with the CSCC event on October 24th. Quick email to the office and they've moved my Classic ticket over to that, just have to hope for good weather now!

Kudos to all those who turned up to support the event - @ch37, @RamseyG, @Pablo. What a shame about the weather from Storm Alex - what a pain. Let's hope for better luck for other Autumn events.
