Nice legend, Henry. Does this explain the relative lack of pace this weekend then? ;)

Hope you like them. Brands GP circuit is a good one for photos but I hadn't got a clue what was going on in the races 'cos they still haven't got any PA systems out in the country :furious:

See you at Snett.

Trackside,

I could unfortunately only make it on the Saturday.... Had something on floating around the Solent amongst big grey ships !!

Guess it will have to be mid July at Snetterton ?

Cool! The Red Arrows have just flown over our dealership in Milton Keynes, no doubt on their way to Pompey.

Looking forward to Snett. Easier to get around than Brands, especially into the pits. Couldn't see anyone on Sunday in the paddock, only the Marcoses and BMW under their awnings. The others must have all been hiding when I wandered round!

Have got some pics of the Belcar, Production S1 and Britsports races too if anyone's interested.

Nice piccies, do you mind if I use them on my website??

Can't make Snet, business commitments and overseas travel, all set up when we were doing GT's based on that race schedule, it's a bugger though, really enjoyed Brands, great bunch of people in the EERC

Not at all, Rod. My name's on my profile should you wish to mention it (). Nice to get some positive comments as I only do this for fun.

Lovely Beemer BTW. Love the Mk1 Lotus Cortina cornering style! Shame about Snett, are you going to Oulton?

A few more from Brands.

From the Belcar series, the Gillet Vertigo (noisy little bd)!

A bit of American muscle

BMW M3 GTRs from Britcar

Harry Handkammer & David Leslie's indecently quick M3

The view everyone saw of the Falcon this weekend...

Mike Wilds gets physical in the Proddie S1 race...

I hear the Keith Ahlers / Oliver Bryant Morgan is joining in the EERC fun at Snetterton next time. Even more variety; this series just gets better and better!

Yep, we'll be at Oulton Park, then the 24hr at Silverstone.

Great shots as always Trackside. I was racing with my Dad at the Snet 5hr, but not at Brands....he had his new car out to play. Still lots of development needed...but it ran reliably.

Did you get any shots of the field generally? And any of the No.3 E46 M3GTR ? thanks in advance. matt.

Hi Matt

A few pics of the GTR for you. I noticed the 4 door E36 on a trailer in the paddock. Is it still going to race, in Prod S1 form maybe? I got into Britcar 'properly' (watched a few rounds previously) last season through a friend of my other half's being Dave Kempton's sister. Consequently we spent a lot of races with Dave and Andy (Allen) watching them race the likes of you and your Dad / Eugene and Tony Rodriguez / Ed Moore etc. Excellent racing and now I'm totally hooked!

Anyway, enough rambling. Pictures...

Awesome shots, many thanks! The E36 was there as backup - my idea - in-case the GTR failed to work for whatever reason.

Hadn't thought about running it in S1. We're getting it re-mapped - de-tuned - for KumhoBMW, so it maybe eligable for S1...then I can race it!! Thanks for the idea!

Look forward to seeing at the track next time!

Great shots Trackside. I race in Britsports - Radical Prosport No.28, any shots you have of that I'd love to see.

Thanks Jonathan

Any pictures of the Rodriguez / Moore car? Tony is EvoBlade who posts here sometimes.

I might join him in the car for the Silverstone 24hr race (budget permitting).

Don't forget me I'm a Pistonheader too!

Any shots of my car No 43 Production S1 Michael Wilson/Calum Lockie. Don't mind what they are as long as it's not of Calum in the gravel..!!....fair play he was pushing the car very hard to make up for our slow pit stop Saturday. Sunday though was smiles better!!! from 14th to 6th within the first lap or two...then later I let the professional take over.

PS. That's Ian Lawson causing trouble!!! not Mike Wilds although there helmets are similar.

Both Ians and my car are ex Edenbridge BTCC Production cars.

PPS. Thanks Calum, I loved it!

Not up to Paul's standards yet I'm afraid...

Oh, and apologies to Mr Wilds for accusing him of assault against an E36! I can see that the helmets are similar now
