It's been quite loosely manufacturer backed setup at best any, think it's been a few dealers coming together to throw some cash in?

That's a hell of a way to waste money for a dealer. Promoting Vauxhall to race fans. Is there anything sporty in the whole range? From what I can see the best engine in an Astra is a 1.4 turbo with a bit less than 150 bhp. Urgh.

Nice to see the brand around on the grid, but this can't be their target market.

The dealers don’t use it to promote the car, they use the hospo to entertain customers and staff

Which presumably explains why they were the ones to pull the plug on a "behind closed doors" season last year?

I had to do a double take when I saw your livery from last year on a Cupra, when on Twitter the other day. It turned out to be for some sim racing laugh

It says the engines are unbranded, what are they based on?

Nope, that’s an old cast iron lump. The Swindon TOCA engine is based on the aluminium engine you’d find in an Insignia, second gen Astra VXR, something like that.

Great Wookie news this morning, however unsurprising it was.

Hill and Osbourne seem like good choices too.
