Radio servive will be available as DSC say. This is from their web site. I hope they don't mind (the additional audience )

Radio Web (& TV) Coverage Of The LMES & British GTs
Live coverage of racing throughout Saturday and Sunday at Silverstone this weekend, including the LMES, British GTs and the Classic Endurance series, plus plenty more, will be available via dailysportscar.com - use the front page link from first thing Saturday.

Appreciation is due to Jonathan France at Embassy, without whom this service would not be available.

David Addison will be leading the commentary team, live from the track.

The LMES race will be shown live on Motors TV on Saturday evening, UK time, with John Hindhaugh in charge.

Well done all those who have made sure that this event is available, live, to fans around the planet.

I'll be in either a S2 Lazer Blue Elise or a yellow S1 Elise

I shall also be there - black Boxster S and black M3. The times in practice look pretty close so we should be on for a good`un...

Was up there this afternoon. The Zyteks look good. Trouble for RollCentre Racing though...Neither car out...

Bennett quickest in P2 this morning. I reckon a podium for the Kruse car for sure.

Been 'watching' from my PC all day via the wonderful MST timing site! DBA and Zytek certainly do appear to be quick as is the Pescarolo and the Oreca R8. Phil Bennett's Courage 8th overall and 2nd in P2 after 3rd free practice. LNT TVRs 31st and 35th overall (3rd and 6th in GT2).

Rollcentre cars both posted reasonable times in that session too. Can't wait for tomorrow!

Brilliant day today, busier than I thought too.

Had a good mooch round the pits and managed to speak to several of the drivers.

The DBR9 doesn't look right in blue though

Weather was a little changeable though, had to buy a coat form the Silverstone shop as I stupidly believed the BBC forecast.

I should be there from about 11 or 12ish onwards Saturday...
And all day Sunday.

Cannot mention the car I will be in, too depressing. The new one still hasn't arrived yet

Dave - Sorry - I wish I'd seen this before I went.

I'd have popped over and said hello.

AND you got a mention on TV too (see other thread).

I think I've got a pic of you somewhere - I'll go thru my pics and check.

What an absolutely superb meeting
I didn't let the rain dampen my enthusiasm and I enjoyed the whole meeting enormously!

The highlight for me was sitting opposite the pits from 20:30 until the end where it was spookily like being at Le Mans.

Watching the headlights coming at you from the darkness, to the engine note to determine what car it is and then watching the Prototypes swallow up the GT's before diving up the right hander under the Dunlop Bridge (alright I made that last bit up)!

IMHO

Radio commentry was naff - when you could hear it even with headphones.
Had no idea what was happening after dark because most of the cars did not have day-glo - especially in the last 30 mins when JCW was behind the Audi and let's face it that was the only race going on by then.
TV screen was half a mile away, and had no position tables. The picture & commentry were completely different.
Over-priced at £20 - the British GTs/F3 meeting was only £10 I believe.

I go to LM regularly, and if this is the best ELMS/Siverstone can do then I'll just get my yearly fix in France. Went to the ALMS meeting at Silverstone a couple of years back - much better value.

PS Well done Shorty with a 3rd!

I had a fantastic day on Saturday! Walked the perimeter of the circuit twice, got a bit damp (although, thanks to decent waterproofs, not quite as much as the 2 chaps with me) and watched a very enjoyable race.

The commentary (which I could hear perfectly well through my earphones) was top notch as usual. The combination of Titchmarsh, Truswell and Addison is surely the best in the country. The monsoon conditions certainly gave the intrepid drivers something extra to contend with and I lost count of the number of spinners we had in front of us at Abbey in the first few laps.

I think as far as value goes, I paid £15 in advance for my ticket and really think that's storming VFM, especially when you consider there was a full grid of 48 (47 starters) cars lined up for a 6 hour race. Considering you can spend, what, £25 or so to watch 12 Touring Cars knock seven shades of s**t out of each other for half an hour in the name of motor racing, I don't think £15 (or £20 on the gate) is high for a professional World Class event.

All IMHO of course

Will post pics on the pictures thread later.

The bar closing at 11 wasn't too clever either. We watched the end of the race and had a quick change before going to the bar. The live band were on there last encore and the bar shut at 11. If the race finished at 10 you'd have thought it would be 12 or 1 at least.
Bad planning all round.
The race started at 2 last year and was dry so had finished at 7.30 which was plenty of time to see the band and have a few drinks.
Good job we'd been drinking all day anyway otherwise i'd have been severely pi55ed off.
