I was there and the RACE was the LOW POINT of a very good weekend.
I nearly went to sleep and I wasn't the only one.
(how can I do that with that racket going on )
Thing is , it was a huge crowd , fantastic atmosphere and lots and lots of money was made .
Why change a winning formula , drivers don't have to take risks to earn massive amounts .
Doubt it will ever change much , until the punters stop showing up ( no sign of that yesterday ).
But I think I'll give it a miss next year ...Le Mans again for me .

Agreed, the rest of the weekends track action was much better than the race. Frankly this includes the F1 warm up and even qualifying.
Worth going for the noise and atmosphere mind.
