Just had a look at Avon Leisure's website! Cheap ATV's! Made in China? Are they any good? The website is not exactly a professional one!

Yes I believe the Quads etc are excellent - I suspect that the website is not more elaborate simply to keep the overheads low (and therefore me in nice new Dunlops )

The 'red-eye' is indeed tape over the wheel balance weights. We've never been requested to put tape over them before, then all of a sudden in the collection area where told to - cue mad scramble for gaffer tape. Red was the only stuff available....

Probably 8 October at Combe again. Then later in the month at Snett for a double header with the TVRCC boys for an 'open' TVR race

Open TVR race! Perhaps you should invite Team LNT!

....bit late catching up with this thread!

It was *great* to see the Tuscans out to play at CC

...was even better watching them pass us at post A1:Folly, and not having any of them coming "visiting"...

Certainly looking forward to seeing them back for the October 8th meet...

Think one of the most spectacular incident of the race was Tim Hood? spinning over avon rise into quarry and managing to keep it out of the wall a big cheer a heathly applause for some excellent car control

Try it from the pit wall some day. The second a wheel touches the grass on the way out of Camp it pays to duck below the armco PDQ.
It is "exhilarating" watching a sideways Tuscan approaching across almost 10 feet of grass at over 100MPH.

Its just dawning on me that 'grandchris' is another of James Crofts' pseudoynms.

I could be wrong, but assuming I'm not - if you're reading James, if you advertise Gerard's car for sale again on Ebay, please don't use another photograph of my car in the advert.

Also I'd be interested to hear what all the '2004/5' upgrades to the Tuscan Challenge cars were. Upgraded brakes and quick shift gearbox? Do tell....

I keep reading about this chap James Croft on PH Tuscan related threads & it's quite clear he's not terribly well thought of. May I ask what the history is ?

There's an excellent photo in club Autosport this week of the CC GT grid going up avon rise all the tuscans are in it.
What's even more impressive is that two of the tuscan's are 2nd and 3rd[sorry could not put names to the cars]even so a really good advertisment for the tvr tuscan showing how good the cars really are against the radicals and the like

The blue car no 7 (inweb) is Darren Dowling and no 10 is Tim Hood.
