Can't see a thread, it's on Sky right now, today and tomorrow. Outdoors snow course in Sweden.

Anyone watching?

Would love to see Elfyn Evans and Sir Lewis on the current snow and ice format.

This format will always favour the rally and rally-x drivers, especially the Scandinavians, which is why they are kept apart until the final.

I think it’s just a bit of fun, but very entertaining to watch such a mix of talent on a grey January Sunday

Mick did well to get to the final there! beaten by a man with his car on fire.

It’s on again at 5pm

I think Mick and Seb take RoC quite seriously, in memory of Michael’s commitment to it, back in his day.

Mick was knocked out of RoC by Jamie Chadwick last year and, by all accounts, has done a lot of preparation for this year’s event.

Of course, only a bit of fun, but some of these drivers are well out of their normal comfort zone, although there was a time when top drivers drivers often mixed disciplines - so good to see.

If you are old enough to remember the original at Gran Canaria, then sorry but this is a long way off. Also nothing like as good as the Bettega stuff at Bologna, but it has a place I guess

Am not even slightly interested in it now, used to be a staple but was ruined for years by trying to be in indoor arenas, at least now they are in better arenas, just think it should be only rally cars sorry

That’s a really good effort by Mick, in a format in which the circuit racers are at such a disadvantage. This will give him a real confidence boost after losing his F1 race seat.

Personally I enjoyed the old stadium-based Scalextric figure-of-eight circuits. Highlight for me was a visit to one of the Stade de France events. Having watched a few not very competent stunt motorcyclists land on their heads out was wheeled, inexplicably, a jet powered dragster. Predictably when it was reeled up a few press photographers and advert hoardings ended up being blown into the stands…

Incidentally, this weekend, Seb & Mick apparently made a road trip out of it and drove up to Sweden from Germany over 4 days. Respect.

Hadn't realised that bit, wonder if Seb is going to carry on mentoring Mick now.

You don't like something. What a shocking turn of events this is.

If you watched the early events you would possibly agree, otherwise what is the point in posting if you have nothing whatsoever to add to the thread?

May I offer the same advice to any thread where you're just going to complain about it.

May I suggest you understand the meaning of the word "forum", it is not simply a place were clap happy people slap each other on the back and say how great everything is, if you think that is the case, you do not understand what a forum is.
