What happens if they are not able to complete all the races today? Are they rescheduled to another date? Or cancelled and the season is a few races short?

Went out of the room for a bit and came back thinking the race was on. I was watching this for some time before realising it’s a replay of last year laugh

What a difference a year makes... Still damp though.
( Play spot the current drivers... forgot that Nic Hamiton was racing).

Suggest Silverstone or Thruxton as the first meeting next year... at least they are flat (ish).

Got to say I’m not a big fan of this new qualifying format.
I really liked it. Rather than a bit of excitement at the end of a longer session there are multiple points where there is a will he/won't he moment.

The tyre warming doesn't bother me. It would still be the last lap for all the action and because they have to warm the tyres it concentrates the chances they have.

As for tyre warmers most series that had them have got rid of them or are in the process of getting rid of them.

If there is an injured marshall track side surely they should’ve red flagged it rather than pootle around behind the safety car, even if they add 3 laps on we’ll only get a 6 lap race

Baffling decison

Sadly that race wasn't worth the wait. Let's hope the others are better.

I suspect the decision was driven by the desire to try and get three races completed by the end of the day. Stopping the race and scheduling a restart would have taken more time.

I shared a kiddy train ride round a zoo with Mr Plato. Poor bugger was trying to have a quiet day out with the family, my other half spent 5 mins poking me in the side and whispering loudly “who’s that? I know him? Who is it”

I told her it was Daniel Craig.

Acceptable... for a mini sprint race.
Hopefully the rain stays away & the season can start proper.

Iv'e just realised streaming on itvX gives perfect quality picture as opposed to the awful Freeview one .

Apparently streaming on TikTok this year. I don’t use it so can’t confirm.

That was an awful crash. Hope he doesn’t have anything serious or long lasting from that. Will have an almighty headache tomorrow at the very least.
