Inevitable, I guess, that people would dismiss this as someone exercising their retired greyhound on a Sunday morning, but actually I have to say that it was a great start. Immense respect to Fittipaldi for harrassing Mansell throughout and what a poor showing from the one man who ought to have done better - Jan Lammers. Patrese settled nicely into his old role - support act.
Hans Stuck not only gave a cracking display of car control, but also has the best looking wife too. These old sportscar boys do pick 'em - if you've seen Misti Bell you'll know what I mean
It's going to get better - Kyalami's a kart track and these guys hadn't driven more than about 15 consecutive laps had they?...Now that they have the feel for the machines, I think we'll see good dces from the off.

It seemed to me that the director had spotted him and the cameras followed him quite a bit, clearly hoping for some action.
Is Stuck pretty much the only one who still races regularly?

Nope, Lammers too....although you wouldn't have guessed it....and Johannsen still races in sportscars doesn't he?
