Gregor - sound like top idea - race against your father few times - unfortunately not in compareable cars. But please feel free to grab the Thruxton one in my vid area www.pistonheads.tv/clip278. I did not finish - killed car trying to keep up with you dad and Roy McCarthy!

Cheers
Jon

Hi Gregor.

Your father was the greatest exponant of his craft that ever sat in a car. I have scoured the earth and have pretty much everything that exists in print about his exploits. I have been waiting patiently for the news you have anounced.

as you know I am currently preparing a griff 400 replica for racing and the desire to do this is fueled by watching your dad and the exitement he gave to everyone.

can I send you a cheque and my address now, send me your DVD When made.

I have your e-mail address, I shall send you some photos of the current state of Build.

Neil.

On my recent web travels, I came accross this www.rsownersclub.co.uk/video/dtv.wmv
which has Gerry in Baby Bertha winning the championship at Mallory. A true legend.

This DVD sounds a fantastic idea .. I'd gladly purchase a copy.
If you have any issues with rights to use footage is there any lee-way in setting it up as a charity donation thing? I'm thinking it would be too good an opportunity to miss, seeing the great GM in slip sliding glory on one dvd .. it would be fantastic of you could do this thumbup

best wishes to you

I was fortunate enough to work with Gerry when he raced in the Tuscans, a great honour!
He was a great man, and could drive the wheels off most things / people.
I would definately want a copy of this.
The guy was a legend.

Thanks

Jamie
