Could be an interesting race today. It'll be interesting to see how the tyres stand up to a track temperature of 53 degC. eek

Anyone else noticed that they've finally dropped those irritating chicken adverts at the beginning and end of the ad breaks? Thank God for that!

Possibly. All is not lost, but Alonso having track position over Schuey isn't going to help.

Good overtaking going on today though, so if we're lucky we may see a good scrap between them.

Ok, scrub that - that 'off' just now doesn't inspire much confidence in Schumacher challenging Alonso now.

another good race, lots of overtaking, and massa's finally got a chance to show what he can do!

Yep

I think it will be

1st Alonso
2nd Massa
3rd Schumacher
4th De La Rosa
5th Button

Schumacher needed to beat Alonso and have Massa between him as well!

Could have been a great end to the season as well, especially if it had came down to the last race.

Why are people like Speed, Luizzi, Yamamoto etc in F1, they are not good enough!!!

Yes - Massa is putting in some competitive lap times.

BTW, don't forget live lap times are available at www.f1.com

Ferrari and Schumacher haven't hit their potential this season, there has been a few races this season where they have had the fastest car, but haven't won the race.

It would be if they were on the track together, but a bunch of seconds between them all doesnt mean very much!

They've done better than Williams though. I felt very sorry for Rosberg.

Schumacher has no chance to catch Alonso now,

I would be suprised if he has more than 2 or 3 laps more fuel, and he is only going to be taking a couple of tenths a lap, maybe half a second at the most. But is down over 7 seconds!

Ferrari should get some decent points in constructors though. Championship will be very close after this race, I think Ferrari could win the constructors this year.

Good prospects for next season though,

Dream would be for Schumacher to stay on and team mate Raikkonen! With renault and Mclaren having to switch to bridgestones would also give them a big advantage at the start of the season!

Ferrari could well dominate big style.

Can you please explain how a safety car that drops him from 2nd to 3rd with a 0 sec penalty is ruining the race, let alone the championship?

Fair enough he lost the place to Alonso - but if he's a good driver, he's now just a second behind, and with all the moves the mid-field are making, if he's good enough, he can get 2nd back...

For God's sake - I hate adverts.

Schuey is all over Alonso - less than a second - and we can't see it.

Before safety car he had sometihng like a 9 second lead, after safety car Schumacher is 3rd and about 4 seconds behind.

The safety car negated all the work done by Ferrari at the start of the race!
