Yeah, but it's all a bit artificial IMHO.. this qualifying malarky means that the best car and driver are not necessarily winning. Still... at least it means that smug German isn't on the podium as much


I think it is quite representable. Schumacher qualifying 7th and not winning is not because he was only able to post the 7th quickest qualifying lap, it's just the others are quicker this year. I remember him starting towards the back of the grid (following wet qualifying) and still winning.

I think the other cars are much better than last year, but the new Ferrari will be out in San Marino so you can probably take between 0.5 and 1sec of Heir Schumachers times to get an idea of what he will be doing (I think this would have put him on pole for the first 3 races, reliability willing winning too!)

I think it's going to get boring again.
