Well Done Sam - Champion 2007!
Discussion
With a clean sweep this year (so far and looking good for BH) Sam has pulled off a terrific season.
Always there, always fast, always with an immaculately presented car.
A deserving Champ, well done mate.
Andy (sorry I missed it ) Race
Bad luck Deano, still Group A to go for! well done all, a great race.
Yep well Done Chap, and more than a little Giant killing on the way to the Series Win.
All you've got to do now is Break the TVRCC Champion's Curse!!! The TVRCC Series Winner has never done a Full season the following year since it started as the Tasmin Challenge in 2000
two people have won it twice but for various reasons, ( racing else where, budget, accidents) the Reigning Champion hasn't competed at every race the following year, and nobody has done the double the following year.
We tried to break the curse, but after a nightmare season eventually had to admit defeat to preserve our sanity!!!! ( bit late for that maybe)
2000 Mike Gardiner - Tasmin Challenge ( part of 750 Roadsports, Mike also took the roadsport title)
2001 Simon Bowes - Tasmin Challenge
2002 Steve Lewis - Tasmin Challenge
2003 Simon Bowes - Tasmin Challenge
2004 Steve Lewis - TVRCC Challenge
2005 Tim Broughton - TVRCC Challenge
2006 Graham Walden - TVRCC Challenge / Tuscan Challenge
2007 Sam Head- TVRCC Challenge / Tuscan Challenge
So from the 2006 Champion to the 2007 WELL DONE MATE, some cracking and consistent driving with hardly a wheel wrong, well deserved
Cheers G
p.s. It might be safest to sit out the first race to break the curse early

Congratulations from the Green Star Camp too Sam, we have enjoyed racing against you this year, I did pinch a few pole positions and fastest laps off you but you still took the chequred flag in front of me! Well done on a great season buddy. Mickey, Johnny, Debs & Mike.

Thanks to all of you, the season so far has been amazing, i have had a lot of fun (and expense) on the way. When i got the car and started thinking about racing with the people i have seen in the sprint magazine i did not know what to expect, to be honest, i thought i would be rolling around at the back behind everone else, having only done track days before in cars it is difficult to judge your pace, so to get out there and get a few class wins is awesome, i have always been a very competative person and really enjoyed all the racing this year.
I really need to mention a few people, firstly all the other racers for the advise and help, Graham was very helpfull at the first oulton, a true champ.
The support i have had from moore racing is second to none, and they have often had to fit the car in at short notice whilst they are under pressure for BGT and Britcar.
Also my amazing girlfriend Karen for helping out at the races, there is so much to think about it is a great help that someone else is doing the thinking for you so i can get on with the driving.
I could go on for ages about all the people who have helped, supported, and watched out for us. Many thanks to you all.
Well done Tony, very consistant driving and a pleasure to see you wizz past in your tuscan, make the most of it, i may have something faster next year!!!!!!LOL
As for class A, well, Deano is my mate, so kick on dean. However, tim always gets my chear too.
Thanks to you all, and see you at Brands. (Thanks andy race for the photos)
