AGR once again tried their best to stop Dario from possibly winning the championship this year. With 11 or so laps to go with Dario leading from his main title rival Scott Dixon fellow AGR team mate Marco Andretti had a late pitstop, didn't take too long and exited the pits on cold tyres right in front of Dario at speed. No idea where the spotters were but they either didn't tell Marco or he didn't see Dario coming as he closed a gap into turn 2 that Dario looked like he thought was his. Marco may have came out of the pits in the lead but with cold tyres there was no way he would have stopped Dario, Dixon or even 3rd place Kanaan from passing him before his tyres were up to temperature.

Big smack of the pits canopy from daddy Michael. I'm not surprised.

With a broken front wing Dario was passed by Dixon and Castro-Neves and managed to salvage 3rd with Kanaan riding shotgun behind him making sure no one else passed, but now trails Dixon by 4 points with just a handful of races left.
