Ain't you gonna blame Bennett's lead foot?

So, for victory next year we need.....

A car capable of 1m55s laps with James May driving.
Something that doesn't break if thrashed, or if hit by wayward bio-diesel hamster driven 330d's.
And does 30mpg flat chat.

OK people. Ideas on the back of a £20 note to....

Me.

Rob.

Well done to all the PHers in the event.

As a first time spectator to the 24hr yesterday I had a good day. Although I'm not usually a fan of sideshows at motor races, I enjoyed the pre-race airshow, with the RoadAngel plane being especially entertaining.

Although I wasn't expecting Silverstone in September to have the atmosphere of La Sarthe in June, it was a bit depressed wandering back past the Woodcote grandstands at 18h30 to find all the food and drink vans shut for the night.

Top commentating as ever by Hindy and the chaps.

And then walked into the paddock to find the chips almost edible, the sausages like rolling pins, and the bread dryer than Clarkson's wit, at the one behind the pits

We also tried to head down to watch at Vale, but were told it was off limits after 7:30 by those nice people from Events Management.

When I went around there on Thursday the stands were all taped off.

A great shame as that's a great spot to watch.
