Webber: Can't race.
Webber is seriously over-rated , never understood why he was preferred over Justin Wilson
I usually ignore stupid comments like this, but WTF?? Webber consistently makes DC look like an amateur, when has Webber ever been (consistantly) outperformed by any team mate in equal cars?
Unfortunately for MW it's unlikely we will ever see how good he might have been in a competitive car.

BTW don't overlook Gary Paffett!
I would like to see also put on the bench and Gary drafted in for the rest of this year...
this will never happen.....sadly...... Ferrari International Assistance have said that if Mclaren penalise either of thier toe rag Spaniards, then the FIA will come down on them like a ton of bricks.... now ask why FA was all smiles on the podium, he knows that Mclaren cannot screw him over in any way shape or form, the whole thing sucks, if this was an ordinary company, they would be fined and the offending employees would be conducting a desk clearing exercise, p45 in hand.
be a shame if he had an off-track accident (like Montoya etc)....

DC tends to reel Webber in over the full races despite webber usually out qualifying him. He's only 2 points clear of him admittedly with both of them suffering terrible reliability problems all season. IIRC Webber is the only person on the grid never to have won any of the junior championships he's raced in. If he really was as good as some people seem to think he is then why does Flavio (his manager) not want him in his renault team when he has to put up with Fisichella!?

I could be wrong, but I don't think Flav manages him any more. Flav offered him the Renault seat but Webber told him he thought Williams were a better bet; this lead to a parting of the waves and allegedly, Flav never stops reminding him of that ill advised decision.

IMHO Webber is a very fast driver, doesn't play the politics game and still has it in him to be very successful.

Contenders for the imaginary seat (the one that FA won't be leaving)

Dan Weldon
Dario Franchitti
Justin Wilson
Katherine Legge
Darren Manning
Dan Clarke

Look over there.... a Gloucester Old Spot with Lufthansa on it's tail.....

Just as far fetched as the thread title.

According to some threads, FA will be driving a Ferrari next season, and so will Lewis Hamilton, powered by a Mercedes V8!!!!

If you believe that, you'll believe anything (just like the 26 WMSC council members that believed JT and MM)

You're probably right.

Legge is another Giovanna Amati.

IIRC he was a bit better than JW, although he did have over a year more in the seat.

I think that JW's biggest problem was his height. Bluntly he was too tall and as a result of this his helmet got in the way of the air box (costing power) and messed with the aero too much. Add to that X number of other bright young things who were the F1 spec of 4'6", not 6'4" queuing at the door...
