As stated in the title, what would happen if Alonso and Hamilton finished the season with equal points? Has it ever happened before, and do they just decide the winner with the most wins in the season? Or do they make them do a wild western gun showdown along the pit straight?

Please say the later bounce

unfortunately the most wins - then the most seconds
Alonso has 4 wins to Hamilton's 3 wins - though Lewis has been consistent

Lewis needs to finish higher than Alonso over the next 3 races.

Ferrari look strong again - but let's see how Mclaren re group over the next 2 weeks

Each tied driver must nominate a former world champion to fight on their behalf. Then, a grudge cage match is arranged, to the death, with each contender armed with only a water pistol of doom, and a biro.

My money's on John Surtees for Hamilton.

No I think that is "If any driver or constructor that wins their respective world championship is not a red car, or in a red car, they will have all points deducted and the world championship will be given to the team with the red car."

However it has been reported that a spotty part-time Saturday boy at B&Q has phoned Max Moseley to inform him that Rons wife has been seen in B&Q asking for a colour match to a Ferrari endorsed A4 ring binder.

What was inside the A4 ring binder is an entirely different story...
