So, are you going to answer the question? What series/class do you actually race in? :0)
See here, doubt this motor would figure on the list of many racers... scratchchin

Perhaps you could try to decrypt his handle.

2priestsferrari.
Two priests. Hmm.

Father Ted Crilley, and Father Dougal McGuire. Or could be Father Jack Hackett, but that can't be true, as he's my mentor, and race strategist.

Ferrari - could be a reference to a red car, or then again he has been on here for 6 months, and seems to have nothing better to do than pick a fight.

Hmmm...

It's either Luca Montezemelo or Max Mosely, no. no.

No, it's Nigel Stepney.

Anyone do better?

Onto the subject.

I agree that the rules, as they are, are sound. Perhaps some slight tweaking in some areas to close things up, but as has been proven in the results, a smaller more frugal car that doesn't need to keep visiting the pits will rise up the order while the gas guzzlers and stressed machinery will spend more time off track.

Duller won this time (again) because their car was more reliable than the opposition, and didn't need as much go-go juice.

I'm sure that Rollcentre will choose a more durable brake pad (Mintex F1R or F2R ??) and hope that their alternator lasts longer (fit a slightly higher current one Martin - it won't have to work so hard!)

Rob.

Well, as Sammy Davis Jr is dead, I reckon he's either Burt Reynolds or Dom Deluise.

HIM! ha ha ha.

Simon Leith just relax why is it with some people its all "your a joke" "know nothing", etc, etc. If we were sat face to face we could have a reasonable conversation (where we didn't agree) without the kick off. So just chill a little.

I'm totally cool with everyones point of view and actually I would agree if the current regulations were enforced then it would be 100% improvement from what we have, which is a long way towards random.

I think what some over look a little however when we talk about mega money is that with the current regulations that is exactly what we have right now. i.e. big money car, drivers and team. So if you change nothing why will that change?

And before you shout about the classes remember Duller also had a big money effort in the lower class and in previous 24hr races there have been fairly big money thrown around with touring car drivers before.

Anyway enough. We have what we have but when you talk about the regulations, when you reflect upon the desire to grow the event and attract spectators and then throw into the mix the comments about novice drivers causing accident, etc. There are a great number of conflicts.

Slagging me off won't fix them, perhaps if some articulated their view there maybe elements of something useful. For some its their one big race of the year, their little adventure, for others its just another race that they have to stay up late for. It probably matters to some of you more than others. All the best.

Why do people join these forums and chose to remain anonymous?

If your not prepared to have the bollox to stand behind your comments then you should keep your gob shut!

Why do you say that? What have balls got to do with the discussion around regulations?

I choose to remain anon so that I can leave the discussion at this forum and if I choose to speak in person then its for me to choose that time.

Steve. Firstly just calm down because whilst you quite rightly say; you don't know who I am but I certainly know who you are. There is no need for all this swearing, insults and kicking off. At the very best its rude and totally uncalled for.

It isn't your choice to know who I am and if I said I was Allan McNish, Bernie Ecclestone or James Tucker does that matter?? My opinions are worth no more or less than anyone elses - but at least I have an opinion to express and in the main the opinions are fair and follow a logic. You might not agree but then if you could articulate yourself beyond swearing there might be progress.

For someone who hasn't been in this series very long you have a big mouth.

Way I see it, if your not brave enough to put your name up, then the rest of us have no time for your 'veiws' - simple as that.

I really do not give a sh*t who you are, you could be Lewis Hamilton for all i care and i am sure i speak for others who feel the same. How can you expect to be taken seriously when you chose to hide your identity.

Of course i have not been it Britcar very long, but i think that Simon and I have been accepted as normal people who see Britcar as a good friendly series. {and we won the overall championship by some fluke!}
If you want people to take your comments seriously, tell us who you are or shut the f**k up.

So why do you keep asking who I am then?!

Explain how that would make a difference? If you knew who I was would it change your opinion of what I was posting?

Well for someone who is a "normal" person and enjoys a friendly series you aren't displaying much friendship.

Why don't you try and contribute something other than a bunch of swear words?

I look forward to meeting you during the 2008 season...

2Priests.......I know you think that you are contributing something and you continually accuse people of not contributing. So, I will make it easy for you. You don't have to tell us who you are. I am sure that no one really cares who you are, and I am sure you get a huge amount of joy out of not telling everyone who you are, and you are secrectly thinking.."ooohhh, no one knows who I am so I can write what I like and upset people".

I am an inexperienced racer and have only been on PH for a while but I have NEVER seen such negativity and bad feeling on this forum....or heard such random ramblings from someone who is apparently NOT Alan McNish...we would never have guessed !!!!!!!!!

Why don't we all try to be nice and friendly and not try to wind people up. Otherwise you will continue to receive the same level of respect you currently receive from this forum......zero!

Stay anonymous by all means. But, if you want to be seen as a positive contributor to this forum, be nice......or p155 off!

Lots of love

Simon Leith

That's me, Simon, you know, the one who raced in Britcar this year, married, 2 kids, mortgage I can't afford 'cos Belly spent too much on racing, dodgy back, dog that smells (not the wife!), etc. etc. laugh

OK - now YOU know everything about me !!!!!!!!!!!!

What series do you race in again!????

I have reported this outrageous lie to the moderators in the hope they remove it without delay. The only Steve Bell I know in Britcar is an absolute censored . ranting . burger . furious . smile

Which reminds me our new GAS BBQ is working a treat, my only concern is what would happen were we to run out of gas at the circuit ?

For what it`s worth I too have little time for those who choose to hide behind Internet "handles" You normally see them coming along slagging someone or something off and then slithering away into the darkness. If I had my way people wouldn`t be able to post unless their identity was there for all to see.

If my mum posted on here she would clearly be highly supportive of all my ideas, if you didn`t know it was my mum you`d think I had some merit in my argument otherwise why would someone support me, if you knew it was my mum you`d be able to edit her posting accordingly.

Now come on 2priests, get up those stairs, clean your teeth and get ready for work, I`ve packed your lunchbox and we`re having your favourite for tea so don`t be late.

2priest`s mum smile
