It looks to be a fantastic car from what Ive seen, but sadly, its now languishing at the back of his yard weeping

<LOL> I do have a fairly comprehensive history ( ownership at least ) of all the tasmins that have raced in the tasmin challenge...( there are a couple more part builds that have not been out yet)

Maybe I'll do and article one day, although I do need to update a few moves recently....

Aye, it seems like a lot of the Tasmins are changing hands biggrin

If all goes well, Im intending on writing an ongoing article for Sprint documenting the budget rebuild and entry of what was Blue Number 7 wink

I'll keep you updated on number 400 x 55. as this is going to have a RV8 put in.

Good man!!!

At the moment my funds are limited (read: Dont exsist biggrin) so Im going for a traditional V6 route although, if the funds situation does change, I do know where there is a perfectly good 4.2 AJP rofl

Well my funds are not much either, but paid less for my car but it had no engine etc. But will cost more in the end. as need engine and gearbox, Exhorts, radiator, Battery, Dash, ECU, Data Logger etc. but hopping to get it all done between 7 and 8k inc the price of the car. this is based just on the cost of parts as will do 95% of the work myself.

Would love a AJP but would work out to about 10k to have one fully sorted with Gearbox etc. this would make the car about 15k. plus this would put me in group A or B. can't afford to do this nor have the skills. If I keep the RV8 to a low tune I should be still able to run in group C.

most of 7-8K spent on the car should be returnable when I stop racing so is not dead money. so it easier to spend. so going to use my mortgage money for this, and my savings for my racing.
