That wasn't bumping, it was systematic taking out.Utterly disgusting from Merc. I'm especially disappointed in Hakkinen, as I was a massive fan of his in F1 and he was always scrupulously fair on track.

Mika would never do that - alot of drivers out braked themselves into turn 1 simply because there's not that much grip there (the shortened start straight is hardly used) and that you would normally continued another 200meters to the real turn 1 and i would think you would naturally be looking down the full straight

Race was no worse than the one at Barcelona last year, it appears to be the nature of the track made worse by cars quallifying out of position due to the wet qually session.
