DTM for Ralf would be my guess.

As for Toyota;
"Here's a cheque Mr Alonso, just fill in the number of 0000s you need,"
Or...."here's another half-baked winner to replace Ralf, say hello to Felipe Massa! We've got him from Ferrari as they've brokered a deal with the FIA to get Alonso without a transfer fee and McLaren are no longer $100M short"
and we have also brokered a deal with the fia to make sure we still have unrestricted access to other teams ip and not get penalised for it, furthermore we will be using a flex floor this season which massa brought to us.............

I think its very strange that people keep insisting that Alonso is going to Ferrari. Surely the whole point of not getting on with Our Lewis(tm) is that he wants sole number one status and the team boss to give the occasional big hug.Kimi saying "Yes Ferdy,no Ferdy, three bags full Ferdy" is as likely as Jean Todt saying "Whose my special boy then?, whose my special boy? You are Ferdy, you are. Who wants his tummy tickled? Who wants tummy tickled? tuppy tums, tuppy tums,"

I think all this Massa to Toyota is a smoke screen, what for I don't know but I reckon it will be Red Bull or BMW for Ferdy with either Heidfeld or The Mighty Chin coming back the other way to be Our Lewis(tm) back up.

And please could we have Davidson in the second Mclaren. Oh and while I'm about it Button to Mclaren is a ridiculous rumour as well. The Honda contract would appear to be rock solid and I don't think his motivation or rather lack of it would suit Uncle Ron.

its about time. why they have kept him on all this time is beyond me.
They thought they had initially signed Michael so made sure the contract was unbreakable, unfortunately instead of the Great Chin himself in a cast iron handcuff contract they got the other brother. To which Toyota chief execs were heard to exclaim "oh brother!!" in Japanese.
Which is why there was the Mitsubishi Starion. They couldn't pronounce their "L"s and it was supposed to be stallion.

I would love to see that. He's a genuinely decent guy, a British stereotype gentleman almost, and bloody fast on occasion, too.

Think of the marketing benefit of a ginger winning the championship. hehe

But seriously, I would love to see Davidson in a competitive car.

He's leaving so when it doesn't look like nobody wants him when he can't get a new contract.

[quote]and Toyota said recently that it would not make a decision on its second driver for 2008 alongside Jarno Trulli until the end of the season.

The second driver comment sums it all up Imo....
