I thought this might be a nice place to relate funny stories or post humerous pictures taken through the last season. I'll kick off with a couple of pics.

This first one was taken at Oulton Park when Gaven Kershaw and Barrie Whight borrowed Trackspeeds spare car:

Snetterton this time. The Multimac team had turned up with their Mustang. One of their pitcrew took a fancy to my wheelchair whilst I was up on the pit wall. In the end the team decided to logo it up with 'Gunner Jeanette' and a big '41' on the back. Incidentally, if anyone has any photos of my wheelchair looking like this, could you please send them onto me?

So, what have you all got?

The thirteen or so different protests allegedly lodged by Barwell at Croft - that was something of a joke...

They tried a few more at Rockingham - their protest budget must be bigger that our racing budget. hehe

Indeed and to then go on to say they had not made a protest all season....beggars belief. Not a great way to do business. Still, as long as they are happy.

Watching a pheasant with a death wish at Croft, it ran across the track at the last corner, popped up from the tyre barrier then proceeded to cross the start/finish straight. Sadly I later saw photos to confirm that it got its wish as it was splatted by a Ferrari.

On a similar theme; being intrigued by Henry Fletcher's sponsor on RPM Viper #5 and then, having discovered that it wasn't a new condiment that was being marketed, having to hurriedly empty my PC's internet cache before my missus discovered what I'd been browsing! yikesbiglaugh

And he forced some of his sponsor's products upon me. I think they might make the BTaP raffle..."The gift for the single man" hehe

Don't mention them! I passed my camera to my mate to take a photo of me with them. Just the once. He managed to fail miserabley! One photo, just one, and he screwed it up! lol

I spent a bit of time chatting to them though, and they were really suffering from those outfits on such a hot day.

Talking of that day, wasn't the weather great? I managed to catch a really nice tan. When I came home, my eldest daughter came out with the message 'Mum says that if you've got a tan, you're not allowed in!' (She finds it impossible to tan)

I think my Relish sponsorship caused a few home and work computer incidents throughout the year...

Our RPM girls were definitely a good memory for the season ( although 5th at Thruxton wasnt bad eithersmile) and trust me they only got better on much closer investigationwink
