Of course when Frank Williams started in F1 he was always using customer chassis. Ironic.....no?

As Frank Williams Racing Cars he ran Brabham, DeTomaso, March and Politoys chassis. By 1976 the team needed backing and funding to continue and got money from Walter Wolf who eventually took it over, it then became Wolf Racing. Frank left and formed WIlliams F1 and along with Patrick Head used a March 761 of questionable history for the 1977 season before Head designed and built the first Williams chassis for the 1978 season.

Yes, I remember posting something to this effect some while back. Clearly FW must need the money!

thats basically exactly what they want to do.
I was under the impression that they intended to run the MP4/23.
As far as I know they want to run the mp22 from maccas old factory but I may be wrong.
