I'm a huge Massa fan, but to be honest i was kinda wanting him to retire just so Vettel would get the podium, it's a bit unfair how little tv coverage he got today.

Mark Webber is another whinging Australian who doesn't like being a loser, although you'd have thought that he'd have got used to it by now. He's built an entire f1 career on a fluky 6th place finish in a Minardi.

???? what is your point?
personaly I don't much care for webber, but I guess your suggesting webber will be pi55ed at vettel for doing well?
much as i dislike him, webber had a right to be pi55ed at vettell last week coz he took him off. I think LH made a good point in his recent interview, ie my job is to keep my gap to the safety car, their job is to keep their gaps to eachother.....
he is right, it is, vettel didn't and webber paid....

Not quite. Should set out my agenda here.

His pace is above par in F1 and he is reported to have a good work ethic. But for all that, I can't remember the last time I was on the edge of my seat whilst watching Webber. Montoya occasionally (some will say always) drove rubbish races, in other races he seemed to be on another planet and made Michael and Kimi look slow.

Even now, with Nico Rosberg and Vettel attaining worthy results in unworthy cars, guys like Webber can't have much time left in the sport unless he has a little more luck or starts pulling Rabbits out of hats?

Sure he had every right to be annoyed. I shouldn't think for one second that he'd be miffed at Vettel's result today, however he may regret suggesting that Vettel wasn't experienced enough for F1 (or whatever he said along those lines)

not if you read hamiltons press conference following the fuji race saying how badly webber was driving behind him during the safety car period.

but then i'm a massive vettel fan, i was at all his first tests with BMW and have seen him working and driving more than most, and i'm well chuffed that he got to show his talent today smile

Why is Rosberg rated higher than webber. When they were team mates webber smashed him. I dont think he has ever been beaten by a team mate. He is one of the fastest out there. He is beating DC and beat Klien by a bigger margin than DC. What does he have to do. Actually DC would be infront after china but i reckon he will get him in brazil.

Cheers

Lots of little things.

In his first GP, Rosberg set the fastest lap in a car that wasn't that competitive.

Not a lot to choose between Webber and Rosberg at Williams, though this year Rosberg seems more mature. He's blown his team mate out of the water to such an extent that the team mate is now set to retire. Rosberg has also outqualified his team mate by up to 10 places.

Perhaps the most telling sign is that Williams let Webber go without too much hassle whereas he's on record as saying that Nico Rosberg is not for sale at any price. I know he's said that about Button previously but I think Rosberg is the real deal.

He has lots of talent for sure. But after so many years people paying his wages will start to ask questions.

He's plenty quick enough to do the job, just never managed to get himself in the right car at the right time. His move to Williams was the key moment of his career, but the timing turned out completely wrong. Also had more than his fair share of genuine bad luck! Age is starting to count against him now too.
