Deep breath...

FA is the best driver currently in F1
Which is why he's being beaten by a rookie?

5.0 said:
There is no doubt about this
Yes there is.

5.0 said:
He won two consecutive world championships without having the best car
This statement is based on nothing at all.

5.0 said:
He took a long time to adapt to Brigestones...
I thought he was the best driver in F1? He had all off-season to 'get used to the Bridgestones'.

5.0 said:
...and to the non understeering set up of the McLarens.
Ooo look, regurgitated Windsor. Again, I thought he was the best driver in F1?

5.0 said:
And he had a smart alec team mate who has been using all sorts of psychological warfare against him all season.
Oh boo-f*cking-hoo. He needs to suck it up and stop whinging - F1 is not Football, you can't roll around on the floor and cry, either you can cope with it, or you can't. As they say, "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen" which is clearly what he's doing - running back to Renault.

Can you imagine the state he's be in if he was Senna's team mate?!

5.0 said:
But he is still the best and class is permanent.
There's nothing classy about sulking and stropping about the place like a spoi... nope, that's been desperately over-used, but you get the point.

5.0 said:
Lewis is just the rookie who got the best car.
Which makes Alonso what exactly? A numpty who can't even beat a rookie when he has the best car...

1) I thought he was the best driver in F1?

2) I thought he won last season without even having the best car? What's his problem then?

As irrational people usually do - you're contradicting yourself wildly.

5.0 said:
Without that he would be middle order.
You could say that about any driver... Mark Webber's meant to be brilliant, but he never makes it out of the Midfield. Bazza used to give Schumacher a run for his money, where's he been all season?!

5.0 said:
He drives it like a go cart so he is just a big accident waiting to happen.
You're talking as though he's just come straight out of K, that's K-arts and into F1 - he has raced Formula Renault, F3 and GP2 - all withough major accidents I believe.

5.0 said:
He uses every underhand trick on and off the circuit to win.
So did Senna, but apparently he's a hero. Suzuka, anyone?

5.0 said:
I am sure he is the most disliked driver on the grid by the other drivers.
Who cares?! F1 isn't about making friends, it's about winning: pure and simple. That's a stupid thing to say.

Also, I don't think I'd like it if a rookie waltzed in and kicked my arse at a sport I'd been doing for years!

I think Vettel will win far more over his career.
Such insight. We'll see. For the record, I really like Vettel - him Rosberg and Hamilton will make things very interesting over the next ten-or-so years.

So Hamilton is a hero when he cuts people up, Alonso is a nasty cheat when he does the same.

So Alonso is a whingy dago when he complains (usually rightly) whilst Hamilton is only letting the world know that he has been badly done by.

The double standards on here know no bounds. They are both racing drivers who want to win and they both use everything available to them to achieve that. We are lucky that F1 is so interesting after the Shui years.

Didn't say anything of the sort - I was just pulling your pathetically flimsy whine-fest to pieces.

Along with FA... You know, the guy who can't beat him fair and sqaure.
Without that he would be middle order.
Middle order? Did you watch any GP2? Have you read-up pon his lower forumla and Karting career, or are you completely ignorant?
He drives it like a go cart so he is just a big accident waiting to happen.

1 accident to FA's many this season so far... Oooookay. Driving an F1 car like a Go-Kart is the best way to do so...
He uses every underhand trick on and off the circuit to win.

Er, it is FA who tried to keep Ferrari information to himself, pre-season. It was FA who then decided to use this how information was aquired as a threat to RD in order to 'slow Hamilton down'. It is FA who then aided dobbing the entire McLaren team in for soemthing they arguably didn't know about. It is FA who is STILL dobbing on the entire McLaren team. It is FA who no longer decided to share car setup information with the team after Hungary. It is FA who no-one wants for next season because he's an appareny cry-baby. Well, except Briatore, his woman.

All I've seen LH do is drive the car... faster than FA.
I am sure he is the most disliked driver on the grid by the other drivers.
Probably. No-one likes a threat.. just incase you hadn't looked in the mirror recently... Popularity doesn't win WDC's, as FA is finding out, although he's got it in the wrong order. Lose popularity first, win WDC as a result.
I think Vettel will win far more over his career.

Maybe, but that's conjecture.

Speculation: You've only been following F1 since FA started winning.

Conclusion: You're a mong.

Recommendation: The stupid really shouldn't be allowed a public voice.

Utopia: The stupid would be culled at birth.

Reality: Sadly it's an imperfect world.

Oh right, and you're being completely rational in your Alonso-can-do-no-wrong, factless rantings. People in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks.

And for the record, as I'm sure many people on this forum could testify, I'm actually a Raikkonen fan.

Lewis is ace, but I've been a Kimi fan for many many years.

If either of those two win it, I'll be happy.
