A1GP - Booster Button

I am quite new to A1 GP, but I watched it yesterday and I noticed onthe feature race that the Netherland car running in second still had 5 boosts left. Why did he not use them the try and take the newzealand car?. Am I missing the point

Maybe he forgot about them? To be honest I don't think he could have caught (let alone passed) the NZ car even with the powerboosts, Reid was consistently 0.6-0.8 seconds/lap quicker and that advantage was in the corners, I doubt the 30 extra bhp on the straight would make up that much time.
